Talented Husband
I just wanted to show how amazing my husband is with his hands. I wanted to do this little project for Zoe's room. Tara showed it to me from someone's blog, and I thought it would be so fun to make, but I never could find a frame that was the right size. So Mitch decided that he would make me one. What a sweetie. Anyway it turned out great, and I love it. Thanks again, babe!

3 months
Zoe is 3 months old. She is the cutest little thing ever. She is always smiling, talking, and she is starting to laugh. She is sleeping through the night, and most of the time doesn't get up until 9 am. How did I get so lucky, I don't know, I hope she continues to love sleep like her mama.
I know this pic probably looks bad with my hand holding her head but she just wouldn't stay sitting up for the pic.

I love that she sucks her fingers and puts her other hand on her head when she sleeps.

I haven't really updated anything about Dietrich in awhile so I figure I probably should. He is 21 months old. He is talking so much, and sometimes repeats things that mom and dad say. Yikes!, Mitch better start watching what he says around D now, cause we all know how much of a potty mouth he has. ;) I think its so funny the things that Dietrich comes up with, and how he will just sit and say the same thing over and over until someone responds. He loves his Zodee, that's how he says Zoe's name. He is obsessed with toy cars, and plays with them all day. He loves being outside and going for walks, and still loves swimming even though the pool is really cold. He also knows how to count to 10, and knows some of his colors. Well at least he can say the colors but he doesn't always get them right. He still loves his Daddy so much and looks forward to when he gets home. All day he asks me,"where daddy go?" and I say I don't know where did he go, he responds, "at work'" or "bye-bye." I have been taking him to a gymnastics class, and he loves it and never wants to leave. It is so fun watching him and love him so much!

2 months
I can't believe that it has been 2 months since little Zoe joined our family. She had grown so much and is super chubby, 11 lbs! She loves kisses, and sitting up (not in her own of course) . She is almost sleeping through the night, and most nights goes 7 hours between feedings. She loves taking baths, and swimming. She is such a sweet baby, and we all love holding her and giving her tons of kisses.
Lindsey and Ruby visited us for a couple of weeks. We had so much fun with them. We swam, ate tons of good food, went shopping, and swam some more. Thanks so much for coming, we miss you guys. My parents, and Pike also came for Zoe's blessing! We had a great time with all of them!

Zoe Transtrum
Zoe was born June 28. She weighed 6 lbs 13 oz, and was 18.5 inches long. She is the sweetest baby in the world, and absolutely perfect. We all love her so much and are so glad that she is here and healthy.

My parents were able to come down right after she was born to take of us. It was so nice having them here to help. We loved it, especially Dietrich, and miss them already. Thanks again Mom and Dad.
Dietrich was being so funny while they were here, and had to do whatever Papa was doing, and followed him around mimicking him. One time I walked into the family room and my Dad was standing in front of the TV with his arms folded and I looked down and Dietrich was standing right in front of him looking at the TV with his arms folded. It was great, I wish I could have gotten a picture.

Good Bye Utah, Hello Arizona
Farewell Utah, we will miss you! but sunshine everyday, here we come. Mitch got a job at BHP Billiton. It's a copper mine in Miami, AZ, and he is the Safety Advisor. We are so excited, it is his dream come true to live in Arizona again. We live in Gold Canyon which is about 30 minutes outside of Mesa, and so far we have enjoyed it. Gold Canyon is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing around. So it is super quiet, and we have gorgeous views of the Superstition Mountains. We have loved being able to swim everyday since we moved in! Hopefully we can get tan again.
Gotta love those teeth
Saying Good bye to Nana

Congrats Mitchy!
Mitch graduated the beginning of May after only 1 1/2 years. I am so proud of him! He is so smart and such a hard worker! Thanks for doing that for us Babe, your amazing, and I love you so much!
Easter
We started our Easter on Saturday because the Zermatt had a free Easter Egg Hunt for little kids. I didn't think Dietrich would know what to do or care about finding the eggs, but he did and was awesome at it. Then Sunday we did our own Easter Egg Hunt for him and he really enjoyed that. He mostly just wanted to eat the candy out of the egg right away, then go and look for more eggs. (He is turning out to be more like his mama more and more everyday!)

He got a little distracted and wanted to throw rocks into the pond

Spring is here...Almost
We had a few really nice days here in Midway; temperatures in the 70's so we started to break out of hibernation and head outside for some fun. The kids were all outside playing when I got home from school last Friday. As I pulled into my parking spot i saw that Kristin was pushing Dietrich on Abbie's Radio Flyer 3-wheeled scooter. He had the biggest smile on his face. I got out of the car and started to play with him. I pushed him up and down the street several times. I turned my back on him for 5 seconds to talk to Caden and when I returned my attention to Dietrich he was pushing himself down the street. I thought that was so amazing that my 15 month old son was so smart and brave to figure it out and do it on his own. It took several attempts but I captured it on video.

Kristin and I got really excited about the good weather and Dietrich's natural athleticism so we went out that night and bought him a bike. He loves it. We cant get him off it.

He also loves this hat for some reason. He always has it on
